Maritime Data Intelligence was born in 2018 out of a simple desire:

to be able to quickly calculate voyage windows and maximize cargo.

Brian Becker, CEO of Maritime Data Intelligence, is a certified Hydrographic Surveyor of 18 years, and Full Stack Web Development Engineer of 19 years.  His expertise in both fields was the perfect marriage of knowledge to create PilotOne.

PilotOne v1.0 was born around 2019, using input from multiple organizations and cooperations with various experts in the field.  As PilotOne gained usage in San Francisco Bay, an expansion of the platforms offerings was started to incorprate various terminals in Tampa Bay, FL, Mississippi River, New Orleans, and Anchorage, AL. Though over the years of real-world use, multiple requirements became evident.  

 

We put to work on re-designing PilotOne, taking everything we learned over the years, and are proud to be releasing PilotOne v2.0 in Summer 2024.
